But this situation may soon be a thing of the past as the mayor of Kuala Lumpur issued a notice last week informing that he had received an application for planning permission to develop a 29-storey block of affordable housing (350 units) and eight blocks of serviced apartments ranging from 42 to 54 storeys (1,766 units) here.
