WHEN service on the new LRT line in Puchong was started, I was among the 400,000 residents there who were delighted because we were finally getting another mode of transport. I believed the LRT would reduce the notorious traffic congestion in Puchong which I have endured for the past 10 years. But for this to happen, commuters in Puchong would have to switch from driving to taking the LRT.
After some of the new stations opened in October last year, I decided to take the LRT from the Kinrara BK5 station to my office at KL Sentral. But after doing this for a few months, I decided to revert back to driving.
