MALAYSIANS are celebrating Workers’ Day tomorrow along with millions of their counterparts in more than 80 countries worldwide.
Workers’ Day in Malaysia gained momentum after it was officially declared a public holiday in 1973 by the then Deputy Prime Minister Tun Abdul Razak Hussein. This gesture of goodwill was the Government’s recognition of the enormous contribution of workers to the nation.
