Parents should take the blame as well

I REFER to the reports “Unfit to be doctors” and “Faking it for medicine” (Sunday Star, March 20).

It is indeed shocking and for the most part baffling how students who could not cope with the science subjects in secondary school could proudly claim later that they are currently “in medical school”.
