Keep motorists away from hill

KLEDANG Hill in Ipoh is a haven for hikers of all ages. Every morning and evening, hundreds of people converge there for a hike, jog or walk and to inhale fresh, unpolluted air.

Of late, I have noticed cars and motorcycles on the hill’s winding road. This is not only unhealthy but also dangerous to the people walking up and down the road. The motorists drive fast and their vehicles emit exhaust fumes which pollute the hill environment. Negotiating the sharp bends is dangerous to the motorists as well as the hikers.
