Hoping to enjoy theme parks in Sarawak

I DREAD school holidays as this is the time my children would nag me to take them for a visit “abroad” – to Sunway Lagoon for a dip in the water park, Genting Highland to chill in the cool atmosphere, Cameron Highlands where they want to pick strawberries, and KL where they can shop for bargains at Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman.

The air fares alone would cost me a bomb, and there are also other expenses to consider. This has left me wondering why Sarawak doesn’t build its own theme parks instead of just constructing mega dams.
