I REFER to the report “Corals feeling the heat” (The Star, March 4). For many years now, scientists have been warning us about global warming and the threat of greenhouse gases. But are the world leaders really listening?

Our earth is a very beautiful planet with mountains, oceans and all manner of environments each providing a home to many kinds of creatures. Mother Earth sustains all life on it including us humans. She provides all the food we eat and the material goods we need to survive.
