I WAS exhilarated to read the front page news in The Star on Feb 13, that Malaysia is going to introduce the Single Pricing Policy (SPP) which requires the final price/cost payable for any products or services to be displayed.
Consumers have long been asking for this. Well done to the Domestic Trade, Co-operatives and Consumerism Ministry although they should have obtained feedback directly from consumers and not just consumer bodies.
