Compile annual report on carbon emission

BACK in 2009, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak announced to the world that Malaysia was committed to reducing carbon emissions by 40% by the year 2020, using 2005 as the base year.

This historic declaration was significant in the sense that it was made voluntarily and marked the first concrete step the country has taken to play its part in addressing global warming.
