Taking action on heavily tinted cars

WHILE driving towards Subang USJ via the Duke highway recently, I saw several cars being flagged down by traffic policemen. I noticed the heavily-tinted windows on the vehicles and guessed that the motorists were stopped because of this. So it is not true to say that the police are not taking any action on car owners with heavily-tinted windows and glass.

The nationwide blitz on owners of vehicles with tinted windows and glass not in compliance with the specification set by the Road Transport Department (JPJ) was supposed to take place in June but it did not materialise and was postponed to another date.
