DUE to ongoing strike action by the teaching staff of universities in Britain over pay disputes, the staff have now resolved not to grade the final-year assessment exams of students, leaving final-year students in danger of not being able to graduate with the full marks that they deserve, and may end up being awarded a lower class degree than they rightfully deserve.
This is due to the fact that universities may take the average of the first and second year results instead of basing the class of degree on the final dissertation and exams.
