No safety in numbers with money games


THOSE appalled by the popularity of money games that promise juicy returns must be encouraged by Bank Negara’s announcement that there will be joint enforcement action against illegal financial schemes.

The central bank said the wrongdoers would face “the full brunt of the law”, and added that the crackdown would be through an inter-agency initiative led by the Attorney-General’s Chambers under the National Coordination Committee to Counter Money Laundering.
