WITH this year’s KL Marathon back to its original date of Oct 4, it is best to get past the unhappiness over its now reversed postponement and think about another big event that comes six days later – the country’s first National Sports Day.
Of course, it may be difficult to forget the Youth and Sports Ministry’s announcement a week ago that the marathon would be moved to Oct 10 in support of the National Sports Day. The race was meant to be the flagship event of the day.
