“TAN Sri, are you for real?” I asked Tan Sri Adenan Satem when The Star interviewed him on Dec 15, 2015, at the Sarawak Chief Minister’s office in the state assembly building in Kuching.

I asked Adenan the question as I wanted to know whether his popular decisions were for real or whether they were political gimmicks for the Sarawak state election that had to be held by the middle of 2016.
