BANGKOK (Bernama): Thailand's Navy today began towing to shore the controversial floating home of a “seastead' couple in the southeast of Phuket island.  Deputy Commander of the Royal Thai Navy 3rd Naval Area Command Rear Admiral Vithanarat Kochaseni said three boats were dispatched to dismantle the structure - a six-meter wide octagon-shaped cabin.

He said the structure built 14 nautical miles off the Thai island of Phuket, belonged to American citizen  Chad Elwartowski and his Thai girlfriend, Supranee Thepdet.
