COLMAR, France/BELGRADE (Reuters) - A French appeals court on Thursday refused a Serbian request to extradite former Kosovo prime minister Ramush Haradinaj to face war crimes charges, prompting Belgrade to recall its ambassador from Paris.
The court in France, which recognises Kosovo's independence, immediately released Haradinaj, who was detained on Jan 4. He is due to arrive in Pristina later in the day.
