ANKARA (Reuters) - Turkish warplanes hit targets belonging to the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) in northern Iraq on Monday evening, killing 18 militants, military sources said on Tuesday.
They said the warplanes struck targets in the Qandil mountains, where the PKK leadership is based.
