Texas governor extends 'deepest condolences' after Scalia death

(Reuters) - Texas Governor Greg Abbott extended his "deepest condolences" to the family of Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia following the judge's death, the governor's office said in a statement posted online on Saturday.

"Justice Antonin Scalia was a man of God, a patriot, and an unwavering defender of the written Constitution and the rule of law," Abbott said.
