Suspects shot dead in China station attack - Xinhua

BEIJING (Reuters) - A number of suspects were shot dead during a "premeditated, violent terrorist attack" at a train station in southwestern China in which at least 27 people died, state media said on Sunday.

The official Xinhua news agency said the identities of those shot dead had yet to be confirmed. The attack happened late on Saturday in Kunming city.
