LUXEMBOURG (Reuters) - Luxembourg's government and its finance minister survived twin votes of no-confidence in parliament on Thursday over claims that the minister pressured investigators to close an inquiry into a rash of bombings in the Grand Duchy in the mid-1980s.
The governing coalition led by Finance Minister Luc Frieden's centre-right Christian Social People's Party (CSV) defeated the opposition motion by 41 votes to 19, with the vote for the minister exactly the same.
