SYDNEY: Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard on Thursday demanded that Fiji's military leader Voreqe Bainimarama keep his pledge to hold free and fair elections next year.
Bainimarama, who seized power in a 2006 coup, has said polls will be held in September 2014, similar to a vow he made to hold elections in 2009 that was never honoured.
