WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A moderate earthquake shook the Gulf off the coast of Iran on Wednesday, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.
The quake had a magnitude of 5.5 and occurred 63 km (39 miles) southwest of Bandar Abbas, site of a major Iranian oil refinery, the USGS said.
