They will film at least four 30-minute episodes of their television show.
Invited by Tourism Malaysia, Hanna told reporters here that it would be his first time doing a show on orang utans and Borneo pygmy elephants in the wild and said that the two species had always fascinated him.
“I have always wanted to come to Malaysia. I am really excited to be here in Borneo,” said Hanna, who has been hosting educational animal shows for 43 years.
In Sabah, he will focus on Sandakan’s Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre, the Sun bear Conservation Centre, the Gomantong Caves and Kinabatangan and Labuk Bay before leaving for Kuching where he will visit the Sarawak Cultural Village and Bakun National Park.
