HSBC offers discount plus free tickets for credit card holders
PETALING JAYA: HSBC Bank Malaysia Berhad is offering its credit card holders a special deal for Mamma Mia!
There are 1,000 Premier and Tier 1 tickets up for grabs at a 15% discount exclusively for all HSBC credit card holders between Nov 1 and 7.

These exclusive tickets are for the December shows – excluding evening shows on Dec 17, 18, 19 and 23. The 15% discount is only applicable for purchases through authorised Axcess ticket outlets and the Axcess Hotline (03-7711 5000). Upon expiry of this promotion, after Nov 7, ticket sales will be open to the public at full price.
With tickets for the top-selling West End musical almost sold out, the deal offered by HSBC is sweet.
“Some 60% of tickets for the Mamma Mia! show were snapped up on the first week itself. What better way to ensure our valued customers get to enjoy this entertaining show, but with exclusive discounts and free tickets,” said HSBC Bank Malaysia deputy chairman and chief executive officer Irene M. Dorner.
All HSBC primary credit card holders also stand the chance to win free Mamma Mia! tickets when they use their credit cards.
From Nov 1 to 30, eligible HSBC credit card holders can charge an accumulative minimum of RM3,000 to qualify for one free Mamma Mia! ticket. There are 1,000 free tickets to be won.
This promotion is for all retail spending including zero per cent instalment plans and standing instructions or auto-billing but excluding finance fees, credit card annual fee payments, cash advances and balance transfers.
To participate, the primary HSBC credit card holder must first register via SMS by typing “MIA
The free tickets are for the Dec 23 show only and are limited to the first 1,000 tickets available. Each card holder can win up to four tickets only.
Winners will be notified via SMS.

Mamma Mia! will be staged at Istana Budaya, Kuala Lumpur, from Dec 17 to Jan 1 and is brought to Malaysia by The Star and SP Setia with the support of the Unity, Culture, Arts and Heritage Ministry.
