Remand of officers extended
IN CUSTODY: The chief inspector implicated in the murder of a Mongolian model being escorted by policemen at the KL courthouse yesterday.
Magistrate Ahmad Fairuz Mohd Fuzi has allowed the extension of remand on two police officers, a chief inspector and lance corporal, until Monday after their seven-day remand expired today.
Both are being detained under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
Yesterday, a police constable attached to the escort branch, Bukit Aman, was remanded for one week in connection with the same case.
