Jakarta: Indonesian authorities said that the volcano whose eruptions triggered a deadly tsunami earlier this month on the coast of Java and Sumatra showed signs of decreasing activity.
Sutopo Purwo Nugroho, spokesman for Indonesia’s disaster mitigation agency (BNPB), said in a press conference yesterday that the Anak Krakatau volcano has been less active over the past four days.
