2 men nabbed for penknife attack on woman after stand-off with police

SINGAPORE (The Straits Times/Asia News Network): Two men who allegedly assaulted a woman with a penknife in Jurong West were arrested on Monday (Nov 19) after a four-hour stand-off with the police.

The police were alerted to a case of assault at a bus stop near Block 501 Jurong West Street 51 at about 2.45pm that day, they said in a statement on Tuesday night.
