Tokyo: The suicide of a 23-year-old worker at Tokyo’s Olympic stadium was due to overwork, his family said, as Japan races to finish building venues for the 2020 Games.
The construction firm employee, who began working on the project in December, clocked 200 hours of overtime in the month before his body was found in April, attorney Hiroshi Kawahito said in a statement yesterday.
