Veteran Bollywood actor Khanna dies aged 70

Mumbai: Acclaimed Indian actor Vinod Khanna (pic), who starred in dozens of hit Bollywood movies including Amar Akbar Anthony and Mere Apne, died aged 70 from cancer, a Mumbai hospital said.

Tributes poured in from the world of Hindi cinema for the award-winning actor, who was lauded for his roles playing angry young men in the 1970s.
