Abducted son of ex-Pakistani PM recalls rescue

MULTAN (Pakistan): The freed son of a former Pakistani prime minister has revealed details of the raid by US and Afghan forces last week which rescued him three years after he was captured by al-Qaeda operatives.

Ali Haider Gilani (pic), son of Yousaf Raza Gilani, was found during a counter-terror operation in eastern Afghanistan three years after he was kidnapped on the outskirts of the Pakistani city of Multan.
