SINGAPORE: Singapore's first and thus far only Zika patient has made a full recovery, and was discharged from the Communicable Diseases Centre at Tan Tock Seng Hospital yesterday.
Blood tests confirmed the 48-year-old man to be negative for the Zika virus, which means he will not transmit it even if he is bitten by an Aedes mosquito, according to a joint statement by the Health Ministry and National Environment Agency.
