JAKARTA: An Indonesian court on Tuesday sentenced three Islamic State (IS) group supporters to between three and five years in prison for recruiting locals to join the militant movement, reports China's Xinhua news agency.
The West Jakarta District Court imposed sentences of 3 years, 3.5 years, and 5 years to Ahmad Junaedi alias Abu Salman, Helmi Muhammad Alamudi alias Abu Roya, and Tuah Febriwansyah alias Muhammad Fachry, respectively for their involvement with IS.
