NEW DELHI: Indian security forces have killed six militants who launched an assault on a military air base in northern India that killed seven security personnel and injured 22, said Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar.
Speaking at the air base yesterday, Parrikar declined to say definitively that no more militants were at large until the four-day-old operation to clear the facility was over. He said those efforts could end as soon as today.
