TAIPEI: Royal Caribbean, one of the world's largest cruise lines, on Monday signed an initial agreement with Taiwan to jointly build a pier on a scenic island group in the Taiwan Strait.
Miami-based Royal Caribbean will have a 51 percent stake in the investment, with the state-owned Taiwan International Ports Corporation holding the remainder, the Taiwanese company said.
