THE Environment and Water Resources Ministry is proposing a new law that would hold companies or other entities that cause transboundary haze.
Under the proposed Transboundary Haze Pollution Bill, parties whose activities outside Singapore cause unhealthy levels of haze that affect the island-state, can be fined up to S$300,000 (RM780,000).
