The Government cannot preserve every green patch in Singapore as it builds up the city, but it is committed to leaving green and natural spaces, said Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, as he announced that the new Tengah Nature Way will be launched early next year.
“We are determined that we will leave green lungs and natural spaces all over our city as we build our city,” said Lee, who spoke at the official opening of the Botanic Gardens Heritage Museum yesterday.
