DESPITE a dip in the 2017-2018 financial year, alcohol sales in Tamil Nadu, India, reached an all-time high of 311.6 billion rupees (RM18.8bil), Malaysia Nanban reported.Alcohol sales in Tamil Nadu are done through the state-owned liquor shops. There are reportedly 5,198 outlets in the state, which has a population of 72 million people.
