KOTA KINABALU: There is a fear that there has been an outbreak of the highly contagious rotavirus which causes diarrhoea and vomiting in infants and children, and the Sabah Health Department is investigating the matter.
Department director Datuk Dr Christina Rundi, when asked whether the rumours and a viral WhatsApp message warning parents of the outbreak was true, did not deny or confirm the matter.
