Sabah STAR steps aside to allow PBS to contest Sandakan by-election

KOTA KINABALU: Parti Solidariti Tanahairku (Sabah STAR) has decided to withdraw from contesting the May 11 Sandakan by-election, and leave the battle to fellow opposition outfit Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS).

Sabah STAR president Datuk Dr Jeffrey Kitingan (pic) confirmed this Monday (April 22), saying the decision was made after a series of discussions with Gabungan Bersatu Sabah (GBS) parties, including PBS president Datuk Seri Maximus Ongkili.
