KUALA TERENGGANU (Bernama): “It’s like being given a second chance at life”, said Rizal Sahputra Abdul Hamid, who was rescued at about 100 nautical miles from Banda Aceh after being adrift for nine days in the Indian Ocean after the “Boxing Day” tsunami 15 years ago.

The massive Indian Ocean tsunami, which sent waves as high as 30m, crashed into 14 countries and claimed about 250,000 lives.
