KL cops arrest eight, bust “Auto Macai” gang

KUALA LUMPUR, 21 Feb -- Ketua Polis Daerah Gombak ACP Samsor Maarof menunjukkan pemotong besi yang digunakan oleh lapan individu termasuk dalang sindiket kumpulan Auto Macai yang dipercayai aktif mencuri kenderaan dan samun di sekitar Lembah Klang pada 5 hingga 8 Feb lalu pada sidang media di Ibu Pejabat Polis Daerah Gombak hari ini. Kesemua suspek berusia antara 32 hingga 46 tahun itu ditahan dalam serbuan berasingan di Kepong, Seri Kembangan, Setapak dan Cheras, Pihak polis turut merampas tujuh van, kenderaan jenis Mitsubishi Triton dan Ford Ranger yang dipercayai dicuri di bengkel-bengkel kereta sekitar Kuala Lumpur dan Selangor. --fotoBERNAMA (2019) HAK CIPTA TERPELIHARA

KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): Police busted what is known as the “Auto Macai” gang that has been stealing vehicles and committing robberies around the Klang Valley with the arrest of eight individuals, including the mastermind, from Feb 5 to 8.

Gombak district police chief ACP Samsor Maarof said all the suspects, who were locals aged from 32 to 46 years old, were nabbed in separate raids conducted in Kepong, Seri Kembangan, Setapak and Cheras.
