Fire and Rescue Dept plans to send officers overseas for training

SEMENYIH (Bernama): The Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) is planning to send a number of its officers overseas this year to undergo training and improve their skills and capabilities in handling water rescue operations.

Director-general Datuk Mohammad Hamdan Wahid said the officers would be sent for training at rescue agencies, such as in Hong Kong, Australia and the United Kingdom.
