Second Finance Minister's son had bleeding in his brain, stomach, cause of death still not declared

SIBU: A postmortem conducted on the body of the late Datuk Andrew Wong Kee Yew (pic) revealed that there had been bleeding in the left side of his brain. 

Sibu OCPD Asst Comm Stanley Jonathan Ringgit said Dr Sia Chew Guan, the pathologist who conducted the postmortem at Sibu Hospital on Monday (Feb 11) afternoon, also found that there was bleeding in his stomach. 

However, he said the cause of death cannot be ascertained yet, as further reports from the hospital are required.

Wong, 42, who was the son of Second Finance Minister Datuk Seri Wong Soon Koh, died suddenly at 11pm on Sunday (Feb 10) in his family home in Jalan Ipoh.
