GEORGE TOWN: One of two sisters, both charged with providing false personal information to a civil servant to help hospitalise a sick Indonesian neighbour who later died, was jailed 10 days and fined RM3,000 by a magistrate’s court here.
Loo Bi Bi, 48, who was charged under section 25 1(b) of the National Registration Act 1990, remained calm as magistrate L. Umma Devi ordered the sentence to start from the day of her arrest.
