KUALA LUMPUR: The Government will merely act as "negotiators" with manufacturers to supply goods sold at reasonable prices for the lower income group, says Deputy Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister Chong Chieng Jen (pic).
"Under the previous Kedai Rakyat 1Malayia (KR1M), the previous Government provided the funds for products under the KR1M to be supplied to the outlets which was found to be ineffective.
