KOTA KINABALU: The new government should focus on improving the economy and the living standards of the people, and resolving problems involving illegal immigrants instead of finding ways to create new laws, said retiring Parti Bersatu Sabah president Tan Sri Joseph Pairin Kitingan (pic).
Referring to problems linked to illegal immigrants and Filipino refugees in Sabah, he said it was time the government worked closely with its international counterparts to solve the matter.
