PETALING JAYA: PKR lawmaker Datuk Johari Abdul's call for the use of the Sedition Act against Datuk A. Kadir Jasin is in breach of the Pakatan Harapan manifesto and the Cabinet's moratorium on the law, says Lawyers for Liberty.

Its executive director Latheefa Koya said that the call by the Sungai Petani MP is utterly irresponsible, and in complete disregard of Pakatan's manifesto promise that the law will be repealed.
