Sabah Wildlife kills croc suspected of attacking teen

SANDAKAN: A crocodile suspected of attacking a teenage boy a month ago and continuing to lurk in the waters around a village in the east coast Sandakan district has been shot dead by the wildlife rangers.

Sabah Wildlife Department Sandakan officer Hussein Muin said on Friday (Oct 19) that the 5m long male crocodile’s carcass was recovered at about 5.30pm on Thursday (Oct 18) after wildlife rangers shot it earlier in the day.
