Kayveas: I did not benefit from 1MDB’s RM36mil

KUALA LUMPUR: Tan Sri M. Kayveas is said to have been interrogated by the anti-graft commission over funds linked to 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) but the former myPPP leader claimed that he only went to “clarify” that he was not the recipient.

When met outside the party’s headquarters on Jalan Rotan yesterday, he said the funds that he spoke to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) officers that amounted to about RM36mil was actually collected by the opposite faction vying for power within myPPP.
