Cops refuse hefty RM15,000 bribe, arrest suspected bike thief instead

KUALA LUMPUR: The integrity of seven policemen were tested when a suspected bike thief allegedly offered them a RM15,000 to look the other way.

According to Asst Comm Mohamed Mokhsein Mohamed Zon, the seven policemen were on a routine patrol when they came across the 32-year-old suspect in a car park near the Sri Penara flats on Thursday (Oct 18) afternoon.
